we have yet did a full mini service together, we have yet gone to ben and jerry's for the 101th time, we have yet created out OWN NORTHBD BAND, we have yet experienced our 2nd camp together. but i wanna thank every single one of you for making a great impact in my life. serving God has never been as "roller-coaster-y"before.

A gift that took the lives of northbd many seconds, minutes, hours and days to get it done. Honestly, the event that you guys held for me at pepper lunch today really surprised me. Never did i also expect a DAVID HOE TECK CHYE monopoly game. Indeed, I have a bunch of creative family.

Though it has only been 7 months that we have been in this family together and only went through a camp together. I must honestly say that I really love this family. Despite my time limitation, the very minute moment where we spent together may it be as a sub d or random photo takings or even random talks have embedded memories in my heart.

Some things that we did together that will always resound in my heart and i bet you will always remember:

1. The first unit gathering at ISTANA park where we our leaders acted powerpuff girls - that’s how mojojo dance came abt. It was that very meeting where we gave out the MADE card.

2. Next up, it would be REFRESHED. If there was something we can ever remember from it would be how David loves hamsters - like real. More so, the video entitled desperate people.

3. the 100 rounds- after your 2.4km and 1.6km run. I clearly remembered that very night where we also talked about KINGDOM CITIZEN HAVE KINGDOM RESPONSIBILITIES.

4. Steamboat at AMK- this was where we officially split into two units

5. Chapter Neutral- A choice, A decision and A commitment

Firstly, I want to affirm all my great mighty 8 who has been helping me to lead this family together. Without them, we would not have that many memories that have taught us great lessons. Xin Ru, Jia Jun, Brandon, Yu Wen, Wei Keat, Wan Ting, Kok Soon and David Sentosa Thank you for serving with me together. I have enjoyed growing with everyone of you in our leadership team. I believe that we all agree that we have great unit leaders such as Wei Keat and Xin Ru. They have been always there fanning our flame, cheering us on even though at times they might be tired. So northbd let’s not forget that we have great leaders that choose to dedicate their lives for the Kingdom and are ever committed to everyone of us. Thank You, Mighty 8!

Secondly, as mentioned at noon. Nigel, Bernard, Isable, Reb and Sherry. I appreciate what you guys shared because you all have reminded me the joy of serving God. The joy of serving God is simply seeing lives walking closer with God and people allowing God to be the Lord of their lives. 5 of you, you have great potential in Christ. I look forward to see you guys serving as leaders of God’s people. Jia you!

Lastly, my dearest northbd i pray that we will always be a generation of no neutrality. We have made a decision, choossen a choice and now we shall make sure we let out commitment last till the end. So children of God, I look forward crossing the finishing line with everyone of you together in the end.

By now, you should have heard this countless number of times and i shall say it once more. I don’t care what L you become at the end of day, what’s more important it’s your relationship with God. I care more about you walk with God, than what you do. So NorthBD let’s treasure our walk with God. Never turn your back against God, for what wrong has he done towards you!

As i glance through the many photos, this is one that brings delight and smile to my face! Though we have only come together as a family for no more than three months, i must say that they have been deeply embedded in my heart! In short, NORTH B rocks!

Honestly, what i am so proud of every NORTHB family member is one simple thing. The fact that everyone learns to treasure and walk right with God! What else than people walking right with God and crossing the line of faith can bring a sense of great euphoria to my heart?

Come 2009, NORTHB will extend the influence of God far greater, wider and deeper in our 7 schools and throughout north and the rest of the world! Our first move to birth out 2 units! North B and North D which will be led by Xin Ru and Wei Keat respectively!

I know we will certainly support our new unit leaders! So let’s continue to forcefully advance the Kingdom of God! We are all KINGDOM CITIZENS!

Lastly, lets’ give our BEST and only our BEST to God in all areas of our life this coming year! More than completing all the seven schools, we want to do even far more greater things for God!

In short, i just want to say that i love this family of God! Watching everyone mature in Christ including myself puts a smile on God’s face!

North B! I salute all of you for you countless hard work that everyone of you has given to invite our beloved friends for Christmas service! In short, i am certainly so proud of everyone of you! :D It has certainly been my greatest joy to be serving with all of you together! :D

so guess what? God has certainly been faithful to us and he has kept to his promise! Therefore, we didn't hit 60 :( not even 50 :( but we broke 70! and the best part is together as NORTH B WE HIT 77 FOR SERVICE! This is our first ever highest that we have ever gone to!

Let's continue to invite those friends that have yet cross the line of faith to come to our post Christmas service this coming Sat! Jia you! One last thing, there is still one last thing that we need to complete together as a whole unit!

Hello North B! :D Ordinary lives that do extraordinary things for God!

I believe all of you will know by now that 60 by end of this year! Honestly, this was the goal that God gave me when we first came together! I remember vividly that God told me that we will be having 60 people!

Truth is this, God will back out from his word right people? If that is true, then let's not stop but to give our best! Nothing, but our best!

Till now, i am very proud of all you guys! You guys have been my inspiration! :D

For now, we are 41! No problem to 60 because we still have many others not confirm! Let's do our best people! Jia you!

Btw, CCHY AND ADSS you guys should jolly well break the 20 MARK AND TOUCH THE 25! Jia you!

POP (Power Of Prayer)

Just want to share this short story with you guys.

The power of prayer. God answers when you sincerelybelieved and have the faith.
A while ago, i was at Mount E ICU. Well as ICU implies, it simply means that the patient does not have long to race through this entire life! I was there because one of my good friend dad was about to die in no less than 24 hours! The joke was this, when i was there we talked for awhile and within the next few minutes my friend had to dash into the ICU. If that doesn’t ring a bell to you, it certainly did for me. It only can imply that something bad has just happened.

At once, the thought that dashed through my head was this. I have not even shared the gospel to my friend’s dad and he cannot just leave earththat fast. The cranky part of me thought that about what if their parents thought we were a cruse to their family. That moment i decided to pray and asked God in whatever case to extend my friend’s dad life by a little while so that i will be able to share the gospel and my friend with their family will be out by 11.30pm. By11.27pm, my friend was out. Gosh, it could only mean two things. Thank God, they thought that my friend’s dad would be gone but suddenly it was a glitch in the machine that it seemed to be malfunction. If you put logic to this entire situation, how can that possibly be? Well, to me it’s a prayer answered. A supposed to be dead person was brought back to life because of a fault in a machine? hmmm.

In any case, i asked my friend about it. Though my friend dad was not able to hear anything much, we prayer that as God is just he will act justly to my friend’s dad. God will allow a second chance that he will be able to hear the gospel in his state.

Through out this entire situation, it taught me one thing. If we do not build up of this generation of youths well, the next generation of youths will suffer. I will explain that more in mighty 7 meet!

Lastly, david hoe is going to embark on a fast till 30th of decemember 08! Hence do not tempt me with the following:

1. no sweet drinks
2. no meat

Prayer points:
1- God will give me the courage and opportunities to fulfill the great commission as i embark life daily
2- North B will break 60 by end of this year! We shall fulfill God’s calling for us!

Hence NORTH B, 60 for Jesus!

North B, my Teacher!

North B, Camp indeed has been great for many of us! We loved the fellowship with each other and even with Poh Ee, the life changing sermons, God encountering Praise and Worship sessions, the insane games and some may even find great delight in the food given.

No doubt, of the approximately 16 camps that i have been, this is the best of all. Reason being was simple, more than ministering to people, God ministered to me personally! My convictions were made, renewed and rejuvenated through the word centered lessons.

As great as all the teachers of the word were, do you know that all of you have been my greatest teacher this entire camp? You guys that me a lesson that i will never forget.

Remember the 100 rounds which we did after our 2.4km or 1.6km? I believe none of you expected that i would ask everyone to run around the track for 100 rounds. All you guys were dead tired after the enduring run, and the rain was showering while i declare the 100 rounds. The truth was, anyone of you could simply just step out the track. The choice was given, but everyone of you choose not to give up but insist on running until we finished 100 rounds.

North B, you taught me what does it mean to live for the kingdom of God. You showed me what does it mean to put aside all of our own personal concerns and laid our lives for the kingdom of God. You showed me what does it mean to persist on in the race despite your natural circumstances. In short, you defy what most normal people would do.

As good as the 1.6km or 2.4km run was, the 100 rounds run taught me a great deal from your lives. Some were injury, had stitches , never had a sports background, tired, no shoes and no water but you held firm to complete the 100 rounds and all of you played a great part to complete 100 rounds together!And ALL of YOU COMPLETED THIS 100 ROUNDS IN NO MORE THAN 12 Minutes.

Thank you North B, my teacher.

The entire purpose of the run were the following:

1. YOUR BEST (1.6km/2.4km/100rounds)

2. Cheering each other on in the race (1.6km/2.4km/100rounds)

3. It’s not whether if i gain or not, but does the kingdom of God gains. (100 rounds)

Alright, apparently i just fell asleep in front of my computer. This can explain how tired am i.

I will update the later part again later.

Meanwhile i really need to sleep.

And after 17 hours of sleep, i am back once again!

Once again, i would like to say that you guys have really been a great teacher to me! As we serve God together, i want to encourage of all us to display such attitude that you showed to me during the track and this will certainly encourage not just myself but many others!

Just a few more things:

Remember the brown letter? I bet you do! Where is it now? It should not be too far away from you. Do not forget those commitments that you have made to God throughout this entire camp! Let’s act upon our commitments! Amen?

Last but not least, CG08! Let’s complete all the 7 schools for God alone! I know that it will not be easy but i know God will back us up! Let’s remain humble and be outrageous in our faith to believe and act! This coming week is the first Christmas service which will be at Nexus! Therefore, let’s make sure we complete the 2 more schools!

Let’s make our days count for Jesus! Let’s end of this year victoriously with God! 7 schools for him!

The final instruction: All God needs from us is only our BEST! If you cannot define what’s your best, look at the track picture on top. You gave your best in the run, though you felt like giving up.

For those who know me well enough, they could have inferred that i am not one that others can truly decipher how i feel as i don’t usually express it out. To move me to tears (without excruciating pain), it must be the greatest achievement that one can ever do. In short, some call me heartless. Honestly, i don’t think that statement is an opinion but a value statement. To make matters slightly much more challenging, i seldom or never give in to the movies that i watched. Hence, i don’t truly believe that tears should roll from my naked eyes. Therefore adding value to the value statement.

However, circumstances broke my heartless heart today and moved me into a realm that i will never expect myself to be in. Even before i took a glance at the movie, i was slightly arrogant and believed that it will never be a movie that could even push me slightly to tears. I was wrong.

Frankly speaking, towards the end of the show i was caught in silence and not laugh like others were. I knew that fluid was about to flow out from my eyes but i held back. Worse still, the post effect of the show took a greater plunge. It almost rolled down from my eye lids.

What left in me in complete silence were the following words:

God, i believe in you.

For those who missed this movie with the entire North family, i can’t help but feel sorry for you. You were unable to experience something that was MUCH BETTER THAN CAMP! Honestly, though it was merely two hours, i has surely taught me a great deal!

Once again, God I believe in you.

*Truthfully, i have never seen something this powerful that could move this heartless heart.

That's 2 more Northlanders in our family and 2 more remaining to finish the school off. I am indeed amazed and grateful for the favour God has shown upon us. Secondly, I'd like to affirm all those who were involved in outreaching at Northland today. Kudos to the CCHY - Brandon, Xinru and their team who came to share the gospel with us. I am so excited to see what God's gonna do through us. Not forgetting the others in woodlands who have also prayed and outreached at their designations. As i was spending time with God, he reminded me that if we would accomplish many more things if we did not think of them as impossible.
From my own post, i said that we need to start by doing what's necessary, then what's possible, and suddenly you are already doing the impossible.
To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe.
Dream before you act, or you dont even know where you're heading towards.
Plan and believe in your plans.
& REMEMBER! Don't think of them as impossible, or everything you're doing will be at waste.

Hey, guys ... Just to share with you guys some testimonies when i'm in vietnam .
As many of you should know , that Vietnam isn't a very Rich country .
But through out this whole trip in Vietnam .
I was reminded of this simple principle .

As i was traveling on a boat along Mekong Delta .
I went pass this boat , seeing a little girl running around .
There's nothing much to play or excited about , but she just cherish little things in life to have fun.
Isn't this the same attitude we should have For the Kingdom of God .
We may no have the best Praise and Worship to offer ,
We may not be the biggest church ,
We may not have the most talented people ,
But for the fact that we have a Big FAITH for doing Great things , its more than enough .
Let's not just imagine or think God is real , but Experience Life with God .
Come on lah, how can you serve God without God .
God didn't promise a smooth sailing Life , But a Life that he will be with you .
So trust God , In EVERY areas in your life .

Jiayou! Each individual have a purposeful Life , Live it out For God .
